Matthew Anderson is a digital designer and art director based in Portland, Oregon. His creations — including digital interfaces and brand identities — are enhanced by a keen eye for typographic nuance and visual integrity. As Art Director at Huge/KingCoyle Matthew creates dynamic, aesthetically astute work that is further enhanced by an intuitive user experience.

I believe that graphic design has the distinguished ability to engage, inform and uplift viewers and users. It can — and should — effect positive change in our world.

With that understanding, I produce websites and identities that are relevant to those who view and interact with them.

I was born and raised in the mountainous northwest corner of the United States. After 7 years in New York City, I now reside in Portland, near my roots. During my time in NYC I worked as a full-time designer and art director in independent studios, start-ups, corporate in-house teams and agencies. These include Hyperakt, DiMassimo Goldstein, DailyMakeover.com, Victoria’s Secret PINK and Project Projects.

My portfolio is running on the Cargo platform. The typefaces — Runda, by ps Type & Anonymous Pro, by Mark Simonson Studio — are served by Typekit.
